Here is a panel from my fully painted graphic nonfiction book What Follows Is True: Crescent Hotel. Much of my work utilizes strong contrast and deep shadows and often times a singular or limited light source. Much of my influence for this aspect of my work comes from the Baroque, German Expressionism and Film Noir. The book is available HERE.
Gulley Park Concert Series
Join us Thursday, June 20th for the annual Gulley Park Summer Concert Series, a free weekly family friendly event featuring music, food and more. I'll be selling and signing copies of my book along with prints. The event runs from 7pm to 9pm.
The iconic summertime concert series continues its tradition of showcasing some of the best musical acts in the region. Put on by the Parks, Natural Resources and Cultural Affairs Department, the Gulley Park Concert Series is a proud catalyst for the arts, providing an outdoor musical atmosphere with a twist of local fun. Andrew Igbokidi will be performing at tomorrow night's event.
